What is the main reason behind reading problems in a child?
In case you have a child, who is displaying any of the signs above, don’t worry! There could be several treatable causes leading to the issue.

A child that suffers from an auditory processing disorder may have a difficult time understanding how to read. Even though a child with this disorder may face several academic challenges, you can still help your little one learn to read.  Seek expert advice and look for ways over the internet.

Dyslexia is one of the most common spelling and reading disability. About 10% children are affected by it. There are numerous signs which may vary from child to child. Apart from this, vision problems may also cause reading problems. Work with the child’s podiatrists to rule out any issues with vision such as convergence insufficiency or far-sightedness.

Other reasons that lead to reading problems include poor working memory and autism. Attention deficit can also cause reading deficiencies because it becomes extremely difficult for the little one to stay focused at the task in hand. As a homeschooling parent it is best that you get in touch with an expert to handle the issue.
